3D Poker Room PKR.com Wins UK's Top Technology Award
This was published 23-09-2010A recent report published in the Sunday Times has revealed that PKR.com the popular 3D poker room, has won yet another award by being named the United Kingdom’s most successful and advanced technology company by topping the Microsoft sponsored tenth annual Sunday Times Tech Track 100 list.
Britain’s private technology companies were ranked by the 2010 Tech Track 100 according to its rate of growth of sales over the latest three years, from 2006 to 2009 or from 2007 till 2010.
PKR.com ranked top by the Tech Track with a yearly sales growth of 356.44% for the period July 2006 to September 2009 which was double the growth rate of their closest rival. During this period PKR.com’s revenues increased from an amount of GBP 347,000 to an amount exceeding GBP 33m.
Well-known and rising trade-names on the league table included price comparison website Cheapflights Media and rental company LOVEFILM.com.
Chief Executive Officer of PKR, Malcolm Graham, stated that they are absolutely thrilled to be ranked number one in the 2010 Sunday Times Tech Track 100 as it is an extremely prestigious award. He added that it is due to the relentless hard work that their talented and devoted team had put in over the past three years that resulted in the company coming out ahead of all the world class technology companies.
PKR has won many other awards since starting out in 2004 which include the “Hotshot Operator of the Year in 2008 and the Poker Operator of the Year in 2010.
