Annette_15 Joined Full Tilt as a Red Pro
This was published 06-05-2010Annette Oberstad aka Annette_15 is a rare creature. How often to you find a female teenage poker pro? And how often are they good enough to join Full Tilt Poker’s online poker room as a new ‘red pro’? Not often, I tell you.
Annette-15 is a very famous online poker player who managed to win the World Series of Poker Europe’s key event back in 2007. She surprised everyone by going home with the more than $2 million in prize money.
Oberstad is no longer a teen and the 21-year-old will take part in this year’s Las Vegas World Series of Poker event. She has earned more than three million dollars in live events and more than two million dollars for online poker. This Norwegian beauty is considered to be one of the best ‘dual’ poker players in the world. This means she is equally good, whether playing on or offline. She has already played and done well in this year’s Aussie Millions Main Event and the Heads-Up Poker Championship.
She was so excited to be made a red pro at Full Tilt Poker that she mentioned it on her Twitter status. Her update read:
“So, as I’m sure some of u have seen already, My name is Finally in red on ftp! Sooo excited to be part of my favorite online site 😀 ”.
I bet Betfair.com isn’t very happy with the change in plans though. This is the second person that they have lost in the last couple of days. Oberstad and Sorel Mizza aka Imper1um used to be signed with Betfair but Mizzi has also announced that he was signing with Titan Poker.
Annette Oberstad started her pro poker career by playing freerolls and is known for an online tournament in which she managed to only look at her hole cards once. Despite not looking at them again she still won the tourney!
And it looks like Full Tilt is not allowing Oberstad to simply hang around and look pretty, she is already earning her keep by husting the FTOPS XVI main event this year.
